Charity Film Awards

An Adoption story - Please vote for our inspiring video today!

Diagrama Adoption and Fostering are in the running for a national award in recognition of an inspiring film designed to find new adopters for the thousands of children in the UK that are waiting to be adopted. Our video tells the story of Diagrama adopter Sue who always knew she wanted more than one child but after seven years of failed fertility treatments, herself and husband Dean had almost given up hope. Having grieved for the loss of their dream of having their own birth children, they looked to adoption as their last hope.

Diagrama CEO, David McGuire says “We are delighted to be showcasing our adoption video in the Charity Film Awards. Our adopter Sue shares her journey through adopting her two amazing children and talks us through her heartwarming experiences that she went through to find her forever family. Please vote for this very worthy cause.”
Supporters of the Diagrama Foundation, have been urged to please vote for the film at the Charity Film Awards website:

Simon Burton, founder of the Charity Film Awards, commented “All the charities that have entered deserve to be congratulated, but they need more than thanks, they need votes!
“It’s simple for the public to vote for their favourite charity film at www.charityfilmawards.com and many voters also go onto donate. Nearly 10% of those who voted last year also made a donation.”

The Charity Film Awards champions effective story-telling and digital engagement among not-for-profits in the UK. Since its launch in 2017 over 1000 charity films have entered and over ¼ million members of the public have voted. The awards have driven a significant increased in video views, positive PR, social media engagement and donations for the participating charities.

More than 400 charities are taking part this year.
The Awards are free to enter for charities. The current public vote phase will determine the final shortlist, which will then be judged by a panel of experts. The winners will be announced at a gala event in London in Spring 2020. Please vote for Diagrama today!
